New York Concert Review

“...All excellent, talented and committed... Pianist Riko Higuma played [Franz Liszt’s Tarantella from “Venizia e Napoli”] brilliantly and was a sensitive partner in the ensembles... Clarinetist Kliment Krylovskiy played with easy facility, a vibrant, variable tone, and radiated lots of expressiveness and exuberance. Violinist Vanessa Mollard displayed a fine technique and a lovely tone... The performances were serious and conscientious as well as involved and spontaneous. Throughout, the musicians projected infectious enjoyment of the music and their collaboration, and a truly remarkable ability to feel at home in national idioms surely far removed from their own background and experience. The audience responded with unbridled enthusiasm.”
